Venice invites „The Book of Whispers” to the Festival of literature

on behalf of the City and Municipality of Venice, and of the University of Venice, we have the pleasure of inviting you to the literary event Incroci di civiltà (Crossings of Civilizations) that will take place in Venice, Italy on 2-5 April 2014.
Incroci di civiltà is an international literary festival that celebrates the long-standing tradition of Venice as the meeting place of peoples and cultures. Recent guests include Orhan Pamuk, V. S. Naipaul, Anita Desai, Javier Marias, Salman Rushdie, David Grossman, Antonia S. Byatt, Robert Coover, Yves Bonnefoy, Elias Khuri, Kiran Desai, Vikram Seth, Alberto Manguel, Cees Nooteboom, Antonio Damasio, Michael Ondaatje, Amélie Nothomb, Amitav Ghosh and many o thers. Our main goal is to have a small number of writers dialogue with their readers in the beautiful environment of the city of Venice. We are committed to making your stay as special and pleasant as possible and would be more than happy to discuss the details of your participation as far as travel arrangements and your stay in a hotel in the historic center of Venice are concerned.
