Tportal from Croatia: „ ‘The Book of Whispers is emotionally written, it’s a very high quality work”

As part of the main program of the 23rd Book Fair in Istria, entitled ‘Intime’ on December 7th, at the Pula House of Croatian Defenders, guest wrote a writer, politician and economist Armenian origin, Various Vosganjan, who talked with Ivan Sršen in talks with editor-in-chief of his Croatian publisher Sandorfa. ‘The Book of Whispers’

For the work ‘Whispers Book’, translated into more than 20 languages, author Varuzan Vosganjan received several awards, including the literary award Angelus. Speaking about the author of eight books of poetry and prose, Sršen said that he was also a minister in two Romanian governments, the Minister of Economy and Finance from 2006 to 2008, and the Minister of Economy and Trade from 2013 to 2013.
‘The book is emotionally written, it’s a very high quality work. In this case, it is about a historical novel that is part of the present because, as much as the book deals with the problem of World War I, it covers so much the period from the end of the 19th century to today, „Sršen said.
Noting that in the novel he talked about forgiveness, revenge and oblivion, Vosganjan said he belonged to the people who could be Armenian and Romanian, and he said that „a people who have incurable trauma can not forget the past.”
„Can a good writer be a good politician, judge yourself,” Vosganjan said briefly, who was also a president of the Armenian Association of Armenians in Romania and the first vice president of the Romanian Society of Writers.
