The prestigious BONNIERFORLAGEN will print the swedish version of „The Book of Whispers”!

Cu putin timp in urma a avut loc, prin amabilitatea Ambasadei Regatului Suediei la Bucuresti, o intalnire a domnului Ingemar Nilsson, senior editor al Editurii Bonnier, cu autorul Cartii soaptelor. In urma lecturarii romanului (in varianta sa spaniola) editorul suedez a trimis urmatorul mesaj:    „I have now read your book CARTEA ŞOAPTELOR (in Spanish) – a strong read indeed, a book that is quite unique in both form and content and in its endeavour to capture the forgotten fate and soul of the Armenians. A lot of the scenes you picture stays in my mind. All in all, we would very much like to publish a Swedish edition.  As for the publication date, we can come back to that later and be more precise, as soon as I have contracted a translator. There are some very good translators from Romanian in Sweden, so that itself won´t be any problem. I think your book deserves and will get a lot of attention, due to its theme and the story it tells, and with Bonnier´s marketing forces behind us I also think there is good hope of getting it widely spread. We would of course also appreciate if you could come to Sweden to launch and promote the book. But more on that in due time. Hope to hear more from you soon. Kind regards, Ingemar.”

Intre cele doua parti a fost perfectat contractul de editare ce prevede ca an al aparitiei versiunii suedeze a Cartii soaptelor anul 2013.
